Showcasing the Canberra Region ... and further afield.
Craft beer, local wineries, live music and all things barbeque will be set against the backdrop of raw Australian bushland in Goolabri's newest event space, "The Wedgetail Pavilion"
Some of the nation's finest barbeque stalls from a variety of different cultures will be there to provide everything from spit roasted and smoked meats, all the way down to the humble sausage sandwich and even some vegetarian options!
Canberra's rapidly emerging winery and brewery scene has produced some incredible wines and fantastic craft beers. Taste them for yourself and meet the owners as the best of what Canberra has to offer will all be in the one place.

Canberra's music scene is alive and well. Starting with the smooth solo performance of Canberra darling, FELIX, followed by the chilled vibes of Richard Perso and Guyy Lilleyman, the energy will build as the day progresses, with the rootsy sounds from the coast by The Somedays and the funky bassy rhythms of the legendary Changeable Dan rounding out the evening, leaving us well sated.

There's nothing quite like a BBQ brunch on a Saturday morning. Be here on time for the best parking, and the hottest food fresh from the grill. You might even catch the black cockatoos on their morning forages.
Sly Fox Coffee will be here to fulfil your daily caffeine requirements, but remember it's a festival, so it's ok to sample some craft beer before before midday.

Festival Opens

Didgeridoos, acoustic guitars combining electric overdrive, kick drum, tambourine and vocals rumble the stage with influences covering folk, blues, roots and right through to rock it is a case of hang on for the ride where ever it may take you. Richard a has toured through Canada and East Coast USA, playing over 160 festivals by the tender age of 24.

.Guyy began his musical career in 2013 and has since won awards such as the MAMA Award for best Blues, Roots, and World album (2013) and 2x The Australian National Busking Champion (2013, 2014).
Guyy has toured to South Africa and the Middle East, as well as performing at a number of Australian festivals, most notably Woodford Folk Festival (2016), and the National Folk Festival (2014 + 2017).

They pop up regularly at events around the place, and bring with them an energy and excitement that will have you shuffling before you know what hit you.
